EAFB is a strategic defense facility located in the arctic city of Fairbanks, Alaska. Eielson had a Bailey DCS system, which was migrated in multiple phases and eventually replaced by a complete AB Control Logix PLC system with a Cimplicity HMI system. The commencement of this migration was on April 1, 2007 and was subsequently finalized in November 2007 with the conversion of all six boilers.
Marietta – Cortland, NY
Marietta is a
product packing facility located in Cortland, NY and called upon
Turnkey Control Solutions, Inc. in mid 2007 to aid in their
control systems needs. TCSI was responsible for ordering and
handling equipment, developing logic in RSLogix 500, creating a
fully functional HMI package using Proficy iFix 4.0, and
designing and installing the necessary networking infrastructure
for their new facility. After this was completed (Phase I),
Marietta asked TCSI to complete the same package for another new
facility (Phase II), as well as upgrade an existing facility
(Phase III). In the matter of months, TCSI has completed
Phase II and is now moving along to upgrade the existing facility
in Phase III.
Groundwater Sciences – Vestal, NY
Groundwater Sciences (GWS) is a consulting company with various sites throughout the Northeast. Our primary work has been with their office in Vestal and sites located in Endicott. GWS tests underground water and uses methods to filter and purify that water. Our services to GWS include installing new radio communications, HMI SCADA system using XLReporter (Reporting software) and Win911 (Alarm Notification Software), in addition to creating CAD P&ID drawings and labeling all instrumentation of their various sites.
Lockheed Marin – Owego, NY
Lockheed Martin is an advanced technology company that has many offices all over the world. We are finishing up an HMI conversion for their Waste Water Treatment Plant, HVAC system, and Power House. They were running Fix32 and TCSI has completed the conversion to iFix 4.0. Phase II will commence within the next month and will include building all new graphics using their new iFix 4.0 system.
